Underrated take right here. We all have indeed forgotten that detail, and I wonder if they even teach it to kids in school these days. Considering the current political climate, I wouldn’t be surprised if it quietly vanished from curriculums.

Either way, if only the working class would unite, raise their weapons and bust into the capital guns a-blazing to citizens-arrest all the insider trader/criminal politicians. Thing is, even if Americans were to do that and have them face trial, who would be the judge? Their corrupt court buddies. At this point, everything is so fucked that it seems the system requires a complete revamp. The corruption has grown so pervasive that it has probably infected nearly every position of material power in federal, state and local governments.
