As an adult who grew up in the tech age it’s hysterical he could be so dumb.

So he met her in an AOL chat room, him and my mom were unhappy and he just wanted love. She was a former Dallas cowboys cheerleader getting out of an abusive relationship. She shared team photos of herself (she was one of the few who didn’t have their name on the photo), she shared photos of herself at the Cowboys bar and at events Etc.

She got off the plane and was about 400lbs heavier than her photos and wasn’t even remotely the same person. The thing is, my dad didnt even care what she looked like - he just wanted someone who loved him the way he loved them. Apparently she had catfished a couple other people the same way and neither of them left the airport with her.

My parents got divorced, they got married. She tried really hard to make us her picture-perfect country family. She worked hard to alienate me from my mom, and her daughter from her dad, and then did everything she could to make me feel unwelcome in the home. I remember lying in bed crying to my dad one night and just seeing her looming in the doorway. She was a really ugly person, inside and out.

She ended up committing a lot of very serious financial crimes that my dad was able to prove he knew nothing about, they divorced, and a year later I found her new AOL profiles spinning the same story - abusive marriage, left in the middle of the night, just wants love, etc.

She was the first true sociopath I ever encountered in life. I genuinely and truly hope she dies miserable and angry.
