LAOP seems to have bought a house from Jonah. LA has a whale of a time helping him figure out how to deal with it.

God, I hate that one as someone who actually does SAR. I'm not trying to be mean, it was well-written, but like half the time I post about my involvement in SAR, I still get questions about staircases. It took me forever to figure out why people were asking me that, and then when I read the stories I was like, "Good lord, this is why?"

I don't think I would hate it so much if I hadn't got those questions that totally confused me, haha. It's well-written, though has a lot of inaccuracies. But it was so hard to answer those questions, and I seriously did a ton of research trying to figure out why everyone was suddenly asking me about fucking stairs.

The funny thing is too that I actually did have a fuck-up about stairs in the wilderness, and I was seriously getting paranoid that it was targeted towards me personally related to that. I missed a suicide victim who had killed himself by some stone steps from an old homestead. It wasn't a huge deal, he was dead before I ever went on the search so it isn't like I could have saved him, but I probably could have saved some people some pain if I'd checked out an obvious landmark like I should have. So when I started getting all these questions about stairs in the wilderness for no apparent reason, it did make me a little paranoid.
