Large group of officers lined up in front of George Floyd killers house

I find it ironic that the same people who get up in arms when the alt right uses the "statistics" to justify their prejudice, will immediately use any situation that fits their views to justify their own prejudice.

These cops are bastards, as is the cop they're protecting, the cop should be in jail and his family should be protected because they shouldn't have to pay for what he did. Nobody should have to pay for the crimes of others.

Just because a cop doesn't quit doesn't mean that cop endorses the corrupt ones. The economy isn't exactly stellar right now for a cop to just leave their job. If all good cops walk out then all that's left are the corrupt cops, and who's gonna stop the corrupt cops if they're all corrupt? Finally, a good cop that gets caught by corrupt cops fighting against their interests can easily seem himself and/or their family in trouble in a similar situation to fucking with the mafia.

Life isn't as simple as just walking away from problems. Cops should definitely be protesting but how can you hope for cops to join their cause when they need to be stopping riots instead? Rioting, looting/stealing, attacking innocent people, none of that is gonna solve the problem and it's honestly insulting to George's death, anyone who defends violent protests can fuck right off in my opinion. I'm from a country that successfully fought off a dictatorship with only peaceful protests and flowers placed on the tips of guns, where the whole revolution resulted in a total of 6 deaths. I believe things can change peacefully, violence only leads to more violence.
