The LHC's first 'run' was in 2009 and they only had it running at 9 TEV. It coincided with the global financial meltdown and was turned off in 2013.
The LHC's second run began in 2015 and ran throughout the 2016 US presidential election. It was slowly ramped up between 9 TEV and 13 TEV for its second run. I will not describe the complete deviation from normalcy that took place during that period. It ended in 2018 which promptly led House of Representative members to start investigating Trump for what would eventually lead to his first impeachment in 2019.
This is the 3rd 'run' of the LHC. It will be running at the highest capacity yet. The deviation from normalcy that is expected from this run is expected to shake the foundations of the modern world. Scientists claim that there is no actual causation effect of the LHC's operation and the world getting thrown out of whack, but those of us who see through the rouse know that playing God by observing the fundamental elements of the universe is also opening the rift between realities.
The world hasn't been getting worse since the dawn of supercolliders on accident. With every new generation of particle accelerators, the variation in our timeline is further scrambled with other realities and the effects are catastrophic.
