den I made a pwoton pack. As a singwe pwayew I stomped a fuww mission and kept my entiwe team awive wifout even batting an eye. Now wif a wawgew hvz dis may be diffewent but at dat hvz dewe wewe a wot of zombies who quit in de middwe of de mission because dey didn’t see de point.

  • A HIw pwoton pack is coow but isn't dat big a deaw. A weguwaw magfed .50caw guy shouwd be abwe to keep pwessuwe on a howde just wike dat (and wif mowe wange of couwse).   • Zombies may quit fow many of de same weasons as hoomans: de game is pewceived as fwustwating, unwewawding, unweawistic, awbitwawy ow unfaiw and ceases being fun ow having a point.

    • A successfuw bawancing measuwe in HvZ context adapts de gwobaw difficuwty of de game to de factions' effectiveness. It does not pointedwy nuwwify anyone's tactics (ow bwastews) ow de abiwity of pwayews to enhance deiw own pewfowmance in de game. dat's NOT bawancing ow faiw. Bawancing seeks to wemove "DC bias" which "satuwates" de game into a wopsided state whewe a smaww pwayew effectiveness change pwoduces no output (game outcome) wesponse and dus dewe is no fun, and wetuwn de game to a state whewe pwayews can compete.

So in de end, de cowe points and some extension:

  • Attempting to bawance de game dat way instead won't necessawiwy make it mowe fun - fow any side.
