Last episode felt weird and forced

Unlike you, I actually was a patron for a couple years. I gave it up fairly recently, for a variety of fairly uninteresting reasons, but this episode kinda made me glad I did. I think I would have felt insulted.

I didn't even finish the episode. The whole thing just felt... off. Even the parts where they talked about cube didn't sit right with me - maybe that comes from a lack of LSV, maybe because I was already primed for the episode to be an ad so I was biased to view the discussion about the MTGO cube as a second ad for that product. I'm not sure.

The Arena talk wasn't really interesting either. Ryan came across a lot stuffier than he did when he was on recently, and the content wasn't really informative. Try the beta, we want your feedback, repeat. It wasn't as bad as Gaby's questions during the Arena stream, which was painfully scripted, but there was definitely an underlying agenda to the episode that felt very un-LR.

Hopefully this week's episode will be better. It should be the HOU sunset show, right? Those are usually fairly interesting, and LSV should be back for it. And then we've got Ixalan, which should breathe new life into the show. Fingers crossed.
