No i wasnt disappointed. I liked the risks they took.

Fans shitted over TFA for it being a rehash. So this film took risks amd gets shit on for that. I liked all the decisions in the movie. I liked rey seeing herself in the morror like luke saw himself in vader. I liked lukes sendoff and his han solo esque see ya later kid. Yoda looked weird but better than CG yoda. His humor was good and i really like Luke pointing out the Jedi failures and their hypocrisy.

I especially liked kylo’s “fuck the sith and fuck the jedi” reminded me of anakin planning to rule the galaxy on his own.

I liked thatbthey kept lukes nonviolent ideology from the end of ROTJ.
