last moments of the shooting of 13 year old Adam Toledo and Chicago Police officer

Why does no guilt rest with the person running from the cops with a gun? Just because he’s 13 doesn’t make him an angel. It’s an unfortunate situation but clearly this kid was wrapped up in some unsavory shit to be carrying weapons and be running from the cops. He has the weapon in his hand and the cop has to make that call in milliseconds. You’re asking for a virtually impossible level of clarity of judgement. I feel that expecting the cops to never shoot even if the suspect is armed an absurd expectation. This is not a case of an unarmed victim. I do think that the discrepancies in what was reported to have happened need to be looked into, but acting like cops should never shoot even when suspects literally have a gun is insane to me.
