"The last study"

Exactly. I went to college to become a software engineer.

I spent my time in college doing actual work, work that forced me to understand fundamental concepts and where to apply them. Like I would start working on a project and by the time I was done I told have learned something, or applied something that I learned (to reinforce it).

There was no point in college where I opened a book and started reading just to learn something. For me, learning has always been a result of working on projects...even outside of college. There is always a goal, and I won't know all the steps that I need to take to reach that goal, so I'll have to figure it out using my own resources.

I literally don't understand studying, it doesn't make sense to me, my brain isn't a recorder, I can't open a book and copy all it's data into my brain. I guess it just doesn't work for me.

Depends on your definition of studying I guess.
