Like I said, I used to serve. I would be kept late all the time, I get that it sucks. But even if I was upset I couldn't leave earlier, I got over it because the customer was still in the allowed time window to order food. It sucks, yes, but the customer did nothing wrong. It's not like they came in 5 min before close, they came in 5 min before orders weren't allowed, the resturaunt was open another hour.

Almost all aspects of being a server sucks in general, that's why I was super grateful when I got to leave that God awful line of work. Clearly your job is getting to you too, because I was no where near as hostile as you, buddy. I hope you get to have a very relaxing day off soon, and that the day before that you got to bring home lots of extra dough.:)
