A dumb thing I think about too often is what the MCU will be in ten-ish years, if it doesn't crash and burn before then. The thing with floating comic continuities is that you can reuse the same characters endlessly, killing them off and resurrecting them effortlessly, but when you have big names playing those characters and are quite liberal with killing characters, what do you do? Both introducing quartenary characters in marquee roles and passing the mantles seem poor strategies, so I can't help but think they don't have a long-term idea of what it looks like when the elder statesmen are lik,idk, Spider-man, Captain Marvel, and Mantis. Hopefully it all burns down before then.
