I understand where you are coming from. You are confident because you know her well and extremely happy. I am happy for you since i think this kind of a thing is rare.

But what did you do to know her during the initial stages that let you decide that she is the one to settle for. Also i have 0 experience with dating but from what i read & understood from the internet the more you date the less your expectations will be as you deal with reality more and disappointed as all your movie type expectations are perturb wrong.

If this is true i am totally fucked not just in terms of relationships but for other aspects of life as well and should stop watching movies altogether.
