The latest Christine McConnell drama

My point in sharing this is that you never know how good you'll get at anything until you practice (and I have no idea how much better I'll get from here). I had always thought baking and decorating could be fun but I didn't even really try it until I was 27. I get a lot of flack in the comment sections of my post's and if I let any of that discourage me; the cool stuff that's happening now wouldn't be. I love my Dad bunches, but even he told me "There's no money in cakes" when I started doing this. But it was fun and it ended up opening really cool doors for me. So if there's something you think you'd be good at; please go for it. Your first few attempts may look like the culinary abortion in the picture above, but don't let that slow you down!

It's taken me 10 years to figure out photography, photo editing, lighting, costume making and baking. I didn't go to school for any of it and learned everything through trial, error and watching Youtube videos when I had a question. Despite a few assertions from some commenters, I do everything you see by myself and little of it happens overnight.

What a great person. She's been blessed with good looks, health, talent, and the means to use that talent, and she's been disciplined and patient learning a unique craft. Unlike a lot of people who know they have "potential" but never put their shoulder to the plow with enough fortitude to make that potential count, she's actually going for it full throttle.

It's petty clear that the jackasses who beat up on her are eaten up by envy that she's out there making her dreams come true while they are browsing other peoples' dreams on reddit.
