Latest news about Dante's immortality book two?

Ahh, I know that feeling. I loved his novel, too, and I hope he lets you beta read!

If you liked the style of Dante's Immortality, consider the Cradle series and the Ten Realms.

To explore litRPG further, you should try Awaken Online, The Land, Unbound Deathlord, and The Ritualist. Unbound Deathlord has a similar feeling to Dante's Immortality, though is focused much more on psychological warfare and has more mechanics. The Ritualist is phenomenal. It's both funny and creative.

Post Apocalyptic litRPG is also a great sub-sub-genre. Reality Benders, The System Apocalypse and the Game3 fit here. These all focus on the world being taken over by advanced races. It forces humans to get used to litRPG's. They're very focused on survival, and death is final. Growth is also meteoric like Dante's Immortality.

Recently, my favorite reads have been what I'd call a "slice of life" litRPG. These focus on the MC and are often hilarious reads and not very serious or gritty at all. The Good Guys, Fizzlesprocket, and the Wandering Inn are great examples. The first two had me in stitches, though both MC's are very dumb. Fizzlesprocket is also a very... unique book, but well worth the read in my opinion.

Last but not least, there are the building litRPG's. These focus on growing settlements or dungeons primarily, and there's quite a few good series here. Divine Dungeon, Underworld: Level up or Die!, Life Reset are perfect examples. The Land is also a huge settlement building novel.

TL;DR: Want a good book? Cradle, then Ten Realms, then check out some of the other italicized novels. Take a chance on The Good Guys, I thought it was hilarious.
