While I can see the merit in teaching a child about responsibility and honest work, stricter standards always be put in place to maintain a safe and happy childhood, just off the top of my head they can include: -A minimum age to start working. -the numbers of hours per day and the time of day in which these hours take place. -the type of work that they kids should be do (light work that wouldn’t put them on display/ in the spotlight/ detract from their education) -the safety hazards associated with that place of work(for example kids can’t be coal miners since their growing lungs would suffer even more than adults) also the kids should be medically ensured. -the conditions and requirements of a vacation or a day off should be more permissive (surely they must be a bit more lenient with children) -also written authorization from the government must be obtained and allowance of periodic checks to ensure that all conditions are met.
