Law schools to avoid: Texas A&M

Disability accommodations are trash overall. If you’re disabled don’t expect any worthwhile assistance especially if you have something like chronic illness or chronic pain. On the last day of orientation I asked disability services for transportation to another venue due to a mobility impairment and chronic pain, but they never showed up for me and I was forced to walk and ended up in severe pain that day. If you can’t make it to class because of a flair up, expect to be told “tough shit”. Many schools record all classes for their disability services offices but you’d have to beg to get that and even accommodations won’t guarantee a professor will listen. The school is very cold and no matter how many town halls we have with the Dean, there’s little interest in improving disability support services.
