The closest thing I can think of would be a charge for possession of stolen goods

No fucking idea where the $130 thing would come from though unless that's specifically what they got pinged for was worth

But possession of stolen goods requires a reasonable suspicion that what you have was stolen - not just a lack of a receipt

I strongly suspect that said Youtuber was totally full of shit

But if not my second strongest suspicion would be that they got caught with something worth a lot more that $130 that they paid $130 for and were too stupid to keep their mouth shut around the cops and dug themselves into a hole.

But even then for $130 they wouldn't put you in jail unless you already had a laundry list of past crimes to your name.
