Umm. Have you been to our glorious city of Chicago? The most expensive retail district in the city is awash in smash and grab, car jacking and violent crime. People ride up the the mag mile in the red line and overwhelm the police running through Burberry and Neiman Marcus stealing everything that isn’t locked up. They take down the plywood for the Christmas season and as soon as they do, the looting begins. Nobody gets arrested and in fact, they rent fucking U-Haul trucks and park them in front of the stores they plan to rob. It happens literally all the time. And we continue to be surprised. Please.
