Richard Dawkings writes the God delusion, which has the identical core statement and theory that Krauss used in his book. Their "revelations" are identical. That revelation is "The universe can and will come from nothing."

So in secret and without telling anyone in public, or in the book, their version of the term nothing means complex particles, gravity, laws of physics and a hoard of other "things".

Krauss writes his book which is kind of a copy/paste of Dawkings with the exact same end result theory. Uses the term nothing in the same manner and doesn't tell anyone what he means by nothing in the core theory statement area.

Goes onto debate John Lennox years later who ousts him for using a different and new version of the term nothing. Where everyone on earth knows it to mean the absence of things, a zero value, Dawkings/Krauss wanted it to mean the literal opposite and actually mean all sorts of things.

Lennox debates Dawkings who sticks to his guns about the purposeful alteration of the term to fit his theory and agenda, literally inverse definition of a term.

Lennox debates Krauss, who admits after heavy chastising that he really didn't mean this, proceeds to slump in his chair over it.
