The hard part is control, control over the graphics precisely because the S has less process and graphic power, then you have to go the extra mile to optimize.

It's not just the gpu power, the series s only has 10GB of memory compared to 16GB on the series x/ps5. And it's also quite a bit slower. This is the main hardware downgrade holding the system back. It's really noticeable when you account for the around 2.5GB reserved for the operating system. This drops the series x to 13.5GB available for games and the series s to 7.5GB for games (that's 55% the series x's memory pool). That just isnt a reasonable amount for modern games. It's even less than the xbox one x that comes with 12GB total.
