While understandable given some of the circumstances (i.e. the lack of an Executive Director), it is still concerning as to how slow the Players' Association is operating. It is admirable that Darshan is acknowledging his part as a the President but at some point in time, apologies and reasons only get you so far. Getting a statement this late -- when in reality, there probably should have been an all-hands meeting on this matter from the players right away given how important the rule is -- is still kind of crazy.

Fingers crossed that the new executive director is able to kick things into gear but I cannot help but be concerned about the executive board that is calling to shots from the players' perspective.
