LDS Church: “There are no explicit questions.” 2016 LDS Memo: “Interviews about chastity must be explicit.” THIS, LDS church, is what’s known as a LIE.

exMorms: What, you're asking direct and explicit questions regarding chastity?

Also exMorms: [deep breath] PERVERT!!!

Logic: Dude, pick a side.

Learn to extrapolate a bit. If this is a policy update, what does that mean? Answer: it wasn't policy before. Right?

Ok, why would they make this kind of change? Why not leave it vague? What problems might this kind of policy update be designed to address? Think.

My guess, is that it might (total speculation here -I stopped attending years ago) have something to do with kids getting sent home from their mission early. If you don't know how soul-crushing that is, you really don't know enough about the church to be outraged over this.

To those who take issue with members of the youth being subject to clear, direct, and explicit conversations regarding sexual matters, keep the following in mind:

The next time you want to throw something at your TV, because some idiot conservative mentioned something about "Abstinence-only," and you just can't understand how anyone could possibly be so naive, take a moment to remember that today -on this issue- you were that naive.
