I feel like they have a small window of time to do so right now, actually.
Evo's departure did a lot of LE's work for them by pushing pretty much everybody to Agora. I've been in this game since April 2012 and I've never seen the DNMs so vulnerable. There is really not a proven alternative to Agora at this time, so if LE is able to somehow get Agora, i feel like a lot of vendors and buyers will quit the DNMs and go private, rather than take a chance with BlackBank.
I know a lot of people will say that BlackBank is a viable candidate to replace Agora, but imo, they haven't proven themselves yet, despite being around for over a year. Not saying they aren't capable of stepping up if Agora goes down, but I personally do not see BlackBank becoming as popular as the DNMs that have come and gone in the past, at least not without a lot of changes.
Even back when SR went down, we were fortunate enough to have an established (and trusted) market like BMR to jump to. Then Sheep became a solid number 2 and it was a no-brainer for everybody to migrate there after BMR closed shop. When Sheep pulled the rug out from under us, Agora was the obvious place for everyone to go, then Evo emerged as a force in the DNM scene, so we were very fortunate to have 2 very strong markets competing, so that if one went down, there was confidence that the other was able to step up. I just don't feel like BlackBank is ready to be the big dog if Agora is wiped out. At least not presently. If Agora is able to stick around for another year or so, I feel like BlackBank could emerge as the next big market if they make some changes, but if LE gets Agora anytime soon, it will put a huge dent in the DNM scene.
That being said, I've been using Agora for ~15 months and I have a lot of confidence that they are making the right moves in order to to stay secure and keep LE at bay until another market like BlackBank proves itself as a viable and worthy successor. Also, the rest of the markets we have now suck ass as far as I'm concerned. I wish BlueSky had been able to evade LE - I thought that market had a lot of potential; more so than BlackBank, anyway.
