Yeah, so like I said, the article doesn't explicitly say Trump is Hitler. But it's not right to say the comparison isn't made when it clearly is. The author parallels the two and shows how they are similar and different, that is a textbook definition of a comparison.

Why, in your opinion, is Trump and his administration the facilitator in the scenario when the author identified McConnell and the party as the facilitator in the scenario? I get you can have that opinion from the outside, but I don't understand where you pulled that after reading the article.

Could a more Hitler-esque person rise to power given what the Republicans are doing? Yes. Not saying you are wrong in that sende, but I don't see how that negates any possible comparison the author makes between Trump and Hitler.

You can make your point without saying the author did not do what he did do.
