[League of Legends]Anyone else disappointed with what they did for april fools this year? è_é

yes. I am sorely and heavily disappointed with how LoL has handled their artwork, their lore, their character reworks, and their balance design interests of the game.

LoL used to be this amazingly fantastical whimiscal cooky wonky game, that was fun to play, the builds you could do with cahracters was crazy and diverse.

They had whacky and fun lore, and an art style that was so fun and variated. It gave such fantastic character to the the game.

They reworked so many of my favorite characters, and quinn's reward was the last draw.

Quinn was such an interested, and strangely designed character, and it took years for people to figure her out, and when they did she was a fantastically fun character, and had some really unique interesting aspects.

Now they've taken away what was particularly unique about her, and made her generic, and it just put that last nail in the coffin for me.

I used to Love LoL. I played it daily for years, and then Riot started disrespecting their original vision, they forgot what got them where they were. They forgot what made their game so interesting and fun for players like me.

They added and then removed the feature I wanted in the game as a standard in the space of a month, and they refused to put it back(Showdown 1v1.) https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/2h5jlt/as_a_player_who_loves_league_but_doesnt_always/

So I left, and afterwards I just feel betrayed and at a loss.

And Riot just keeps on making more and more choices that push people like me away from the game.

Meanwhile there's Valve, mainting their characters and art designs as best they can for years, never straying form their art style, treating their developer and creative history with respect. Making choices that perpetuate the game's viability. They have a few kinks they have to figure out, but The developers even listened to what I have to say adding a feature I wanted so badly.

I don't play Dota2 anymore, but after Riot's complete disregard for their history and players who valued art, and lore, and their god awful balance.... If i ever go back to a MOBA, it'll be dota. Because I know when I go back, my favorite characters will still be there waiting for me just the way they always were.
