League Sandbox IntWars Update + Easy Download

I was making basically a bit of everything people do nowdays. Guides,"break the meta" (aka AD Veigar), fun videos, datamine videos, etc.

My first channel got a little bit of traction, nothing THAT much but 70k+ views/video was a pretty big deal back then. After I got into a network, a 70k view video was close to 60e. Because most of the videos had voice overs, they fell under Fair Use as educational content.

I made a major mistake at that point trying to expand on the type of content I was doing. Riot launched their youtube channel and the Alistar promotion so they kept trying to copyright claim the content I was making but they couldn't because of fair use. The new content I wanted to make was basically a series of videos showing the skins in game (yeah... exactly what Skin Spotlight started doing March 2012).

Because my skins spotlights were over 1:30 long and didn't have any voice over, they claimed it as their content, issued a DMCA, closed my Youtube/Gmail/Youtube/Paypal/Credit Card accounts. I got a mail that I might be sued for trying to claim Riot's IP as my own work and profit from it. I also got issued 3 copyright strikes + 2 more when opening a new account ( 3 copyright strikes closes an youtube account, 20 across a network closes the entire network; I got 5 alone and that removed thumbnails from everyone in the network for 6 months so from that point I became unable to monetize youtube content).

The only thing I had going for me is that I was still 17 at that point so I didn't get fucked even more than I did. I was never able to get a single cent out of hours of content, I got issues with banks because of the whole IP theft claim and all of that because I was diverting traffic from Riot's youtube channel. Hey they are super friendly with content creators these days \o/ They even make community events and promo videos together.
