I want to learn coding for the skill. Where’s a good place in OC to start?

Yeah we had a friend who was terrible at programming but wanted to change careers so took a bootcamp. She's doing really well now. Been thinking about it myself.

The big thing is that it was fast. CC classes have pre-reqs and you have to do the basic courses before getting into more and we're talking about at least a year, if not two before you can get your AA or transfer. For people who have money and need to change in less time than formally going back to school, this is the way to go.

Who knows what 2 years from now will look like? It's hard to invest that amount of time in schooling after you're older with a more established job and life. But a boot camp produces the same results if you're serious and in less time. But you're gonna burn that money.
