Learned a horrifying fact today about store credit cards...

You're trying to sound very authoritative about this, but you are 100% incorrect. Navient has over the years tried everything they can to screw over people with student loans.

In my case, they applied >$1k in payments to interest only, when the outstanding interest was $0. They then proceeded to give me a .1% interest rate on that money. This was then returned as capitalized interest to the balance of the loan over a fucking year later as shown in my statement here.

Fuck that company and anyone that has ever worked for them.
