You can use a variety of techniques and plug-ins to achieve your goal. I can’t possibly hope to reconstruct how OP did this, but I can offer an alternative that will get you part of the way there.

See this tutorial to get the main gist. In addition, use transform/rotate/skew on the shirt logo to simulate perspective and distortions. Tip: Impatient me would do all this work on an image 4 to 8 times bigger than my intended output size. When done, resize down to 75% of my intended output, add noise, then scale back up. The resampling will blend some of the rough edges. It always helps if there are enough noise, blurring, and slight pixelations to hide/fudge errors.
