Learning the system. Trying to optimize performance prodigy build. Level 2.

I made it to level 2. This is the screenshot of my level up. I also included information from the character creation.
From what it seems in this game, you can reduce whatever you want in order to shift points into something more effective for your build. And a teammate will be able to make up for it. Or fulfill that role. So even if your main character is weak at something, it will be covered by somebody else in your party. So your party as a whole can cover all bases.
However, this doesn't seem to be the case with communication. As far as I can tell, the main character is the only one who can communicate. So if he's weak at communication, nobody will be able to cover for that. But the party as a whole can be effective in all other aspects. So in order to build a party that is strong at everything, the main character would have to be strong at communication. Which almost implies having to boost points into Resolve. Which then implies choosing a class that has that gold star for being high priority for the class on Resolve. Or at least a silver start. Then, choosing a race that suits the class. At least for best optimization. In theory.
However, I don't fully know how everything functions. Like how optimal builds can be in practice. I wanted to play a style that sort of flits around the battlefield running circles around enemies like sort of a dance. Assist with damage where necessary, finish enemies off, buffer enemies who are running past frontline to attack our backline. So I wanted to make a build that caters to my personality and playstyle. High performance, intelligence, nimble, savvy. I almost was going to dump Resolve, but opted to boost it, mainly because the info says it's important for communication and leadership.
I mainly boosted Dex, Per, Int. With Res secondary. I went with Rogue. I'm not sure how important Fortitude is. So I pretty much dumped it. Even though there was a gold star on Str. I put some points into it to have it at least to 8. It says 3% damage boost per point. But I'm not really sure if that's worth it in relation to points that can improve accuracy, attack speed, crit chance, interrupt, duration of conditions (that are necessary for my passive sneak attack bonus damage), the other various defenses aside from Fortitude.
I'm using a rapier with small shield. It does piercing damage. So I also have a dagger that does the same thing, but with slashing damage. Secondary, I have a hunter bow. Leather for armor. I was considering going for the one-handed style talent which can't be used with shield. But sword/shield talent boosts reflex. So not totally sure which would be better. However, my first pick when I got to level 2 was Fast Runner. All game long, I'd have Calisca running in screaming. While my character would run around everybody constantly trying to get into a good flanking position. So improving speed/disengagement seemed to help the most. I put all my profession points into Stealth.
