Dior. I realize he's underwritten largely because JRR never finished writing the fall of doriath and Chris had to piece together that part largely by himself, but he dooms doriath through indecision.

And I just can't stop disliking Turin. He spends his entire life getting showered with everything anyone could ever want and squandering it. And no, the curse can't entirely excuse him for his decisions. He (accidentally) kills his adopted father's top advisor, runs away, is totally exonerated for the crime despite running away, and still has the gall to call himself "the wronged"? Turin would have been a disaster had there never been any curse, at most morgoth just steered his self destruction in a way that served his purposes.
