He's a bit unstable when it comes to people with opposing views and often calls people racist etc
Over the last year or so I have been struggling with some very powerful mental struggles. I have been struggling to work out who I am, what I believe in and why other people think differently.
This struggle has caused me to lash out at people, to label people, to judge people and to condemn people. I made the mistake of believing everybody who thought differently to me was inherently troubled, when really I was.
I sincerely apologise for how i behaved. It was not constructive, it was not warranted and crucially it did nothing but put people off of rational discussion and a willingness to have their beliefs challenged.
I have been in therapy recently and I have opened my mind to hearing opposing views without feeling attacked, learning how to form an argument in a way that doesn't hurt people, doesn't make them defensive or feel under attack and allows the transfer of information and perspective in a way that benefits both.
I don't expect this apology to undo the dreadful reputation I have created for myself, but I hope it will convince you to give me a chance to repair that damage over time.
I do now believe that we all want the best for all around us, and to disagree on how we achieve that is a strength of humanity and not a condemnation.
I also apologise to the individuals I lashed out at, I did not do my own opinions justice and I sure as hell did not do the opinions of the left wing justice either, I fear I tarred it's reputation when I had no right to do so.
