First off my post isn't angry, it is just me stating my opinions in a straight-forward manner. I'm from NYC and we talk in that manner instead of talking politely not to offend anyone. Sorry I'm not from the midwest or south or North Carolina, but that is just how I talk. Also find it interesting how this is your first post in 4th months and the other dudes account is 1 month old.

Well you either didn't read my post or don't understand what I'm saying. So I will explain it to you in simpler terms. I was responding to the post that talks about how people shouldn't talk about getting "high on kratom" because people use it for real medical issues like depression and anti-anxiety. I was stating how people who are looking to get high are often times try to cure an issue like anti-anxiety and depression but just aren't diagnosed that by the medical community because they never sought treatment. A lot of people abuse substances because of underlying issues. So when someone is looking to get high they might have an issue and shouldn't be attacked for stating that they are trying to get high off kratom.

Furthermore that post is saying that they don't want kratom to get banned and they think discussing it in this very influential subreddit is going to have a large effect on the FDA & DEA and the US government as a whole. I find that ludicrous.

Now in regards to your buddy thinking in taking the internet too seriously. You see when you want to meet someone from the internet, that to me is taking the internet too seriously as this is reddit not a meeting group.
