Don't mind him. There are always two camps on this subreddit. People who say k/d counts and people who say k/d doesn't count.

What I think is, people with crappy scores say it doesn't count while people who are good say it counts.

Look, the game keeps track of it and prominently displays it for all to see next to your profile. So obviously k/d matters as it's your public profile. To say it doesn't count, often comes from defense mechanism.

It's like taking photos. People who are photogenic and good looking love selfies and pictures. Because they look good. People who are ugly don't like their photos taken. It's how it works.
