Well, I'm guessing the people who worked out this deal and signed it won't be thrilled about what happened. Not only did they get called out for their bullshit, they also lost a huge amount of money because of this, and possibly also credibility. And a deal like this was definitely not signed by some random nobody and I have a hard time believing this is the action of just one individual either. A deal like this was probably approved by the people at the very top of the food chain at Riot. Good luck in a work place where your boss feels like you lost them a couple million dollors and made them lose face and credibility. The people who spoke up about it did the right thing and I really hope that this doesn't come back to bite them in the ass. Doing the right thing should never have negative effects for yourself, but unfortunately that's how life works sometimes.
