Korea is one of the top developed countries in Asia for economy, democracy, society, etc. Korea's remarkable development was managed with a 5-year 1-term limit. Korea was not a democracy before 1988, but since then, Korea became very highly developed and escaped the middle-income trap.

That said, I'm for conducting proper balanced research on the pros and cons in the context of 2024 South Korea and then having some public surveys to gauge support before a referendum.
