You're probably correct. Depending on what can be constituted as "reasonable force" in court. I'd think it would be difficult to back this up as "reasonable".

At the same time an attorney could argue that her bottle (plastic or not) was being brandished as a weapon and being that she's an intruder who is threatening the assumed legal occupants of the home they were within their legal rights to use force.

But who knows? Idk if anyone beating her up even lived there. Not enough to go on based on a short video and limited information. Again, they are all dumb.
