Left 4 Dead 3 Teased By Valve - Valve Catch-Up

If you're this emotional over a video game I'd hate to see how you are with other, more serious aspects of your life.

Ah, I'd actually bet you don't actually care either way - you just see "emotional" as an insult without realizing that you're actually (and actively) dismissing other people's feelings as irrelevant when compared to your own. Left unrecognized, this will be a problem for you in your personal and professional relationships, and prevent you from ever approaching success in either.

Like seriously. Get over it and move on with your life. Reading your post just made me /facepalm honestly.

Like seriously, seriously? You totally /facepalmed? Totally seriously? Like totally seriously seriously?

Thing is, good customer relations is all a business has. That I had a bad experience should stick with me as much as when I have good experiences. I would feel no differently had I bought a video card that advertised a future firmware update to boost stock speeds or to add/enable new features, and found out that the promised update never came. It would make me question the company and their products in the future. You either leave a customer feeling good about their interaction or bad. Thing is, I know you actually understand my point - you're just willing to give Valve a pass (along with the aforementioned disbelief that other people's feelings being equivalent to your own.)

Again, Valve never has and never will owe anyone a damn thing. They're a private company. They do what they want. Don't like it? Go find Bill Gates and ask him to offer up his fortune to buy them up and run it yourself.

These statements being in the same paragraph would appear to indicate that you think they're connected. They're not. It's a diaspora of ideas.
