I Left Apple Retail Store Dissapointed

I am not disappointed that the newer iphones are not leaps and bounds better than the older ones.

I am not sure how long you have had cell phones, in particular and iPhones specifically, but it is kinda nice to have a phone you can keep for a few years. In the early days of android, you were good for a year or two, at best, and then the phone was completely obsolete.

I switched to apple because you didn't have to buy a new phone every year or two. With iOS updates, your phones still worked. And worked well. I know people with now with 5's that are still going strong.

That's what you want with a Phone. You spend $600-800 on a phone, you kinda want it to last for a few years.

The new phones they come out with are an improvement on the last phones. (The cameras are amazing on the new phones, for example. I am almost tempted to buy a new one because of the cameras. )

But is the new iPhone a reason to dump your old iPhone? No. They aren't really designed that way. If you want to do new things, and try some better options, sure. Get new one. But all those old iPhones out there, there is no reason to make those extinct. Update the iOS, and the customer retains his/her return on investment.
