Leg-lengthening surgery is available in more than a dozen countries, with some patients able to increase their height by up to five inches (13cm).

i'd be 6'5+ if i could

You really wouldn't want that either. They're both full of downsides.

You may not easily find clothes that fit you, but at least they can be tailored to fit you. A super tall guy has to find something with enough fabric, usually at a specialty store with limited selection. They also cost a lot more. In fact, everything about being bigger is more expensive, including food.

Super tall guys have to bend down for everything and constantly hit their head. Want to wash the dishes? Sorry the counter height was chosen for someone at least a foot shorter. Want to get a dish out of the bottom cabinet? Prepare to either bend your body in half or squat. Everyday life makes you a yoga master constantly confronting your body for the most mundane task.

Want to fit in a car? Fuck you. Too bad. Prepare to slouch and destroy your back or pay thousands to modify the vehicle. Catching an Uber or a taxi? Better hope it's not a tiny Prius or wait longer and pay more for Uber Black and hope for Tahoe.

Want to just blend in and be part of the crowd? Sorry. You don't have that option. You will be obvious a mile out.

Want to go to a movie theater? Make sure you get there early or you're able to get an assigned seat in the back. Otherwise you're blocking someone's view.

Want to go to a hotel? Better hope they have a suite upgrade with a California King bed or you're dangling your feet off the end.

I'm really sorry you have to step up on things and get picked on, but I don't think you understand what a hassle it is to be the opposite.

Want to fly? Better make sure you get an emergency exit row or pay more for another class.
