Legal pot sales could reach $1 billion between October and December: StatCan

... "Canadians could spend more than $1 billion on legal cannabis between October and December." - and THIS is why the government is getting involved in cannabis. I do not believe it had anything to do with squashing the black market and getting rid of the drug dealer down on the corner. I don't buy that lame excuse. I believe the reason why is money money money... let's tax it so that we can get a piece of the pot. And the government is very strategic on how it's allowing legal marijuana. Marijuana is not going to be all legal only the government's marijuana is going to be legal. The plants that you're allowed to grow cannot be seeds from your sock drawer that you've accumulated... The plants that you grow have to be from seeds that you bought from the legal store. Now I don't know how the cops are going to tell the difference but the point is is not all weed or seeds are legal only the government's stuff.
