Legalized marijuana: Colorado police say no impact 1 year after Amendment 64

Oh, come live in the South. The homeless thrive in the South. You don't freeze in the South. And now, we have The Contributor in Nashville. You can't stop at an intersection, ANYWHERE IN THE CITY, without someone trying to sell you a newspaper about the homeless, which is another way of begging, without getting busted for begging.

I drive almost all day, every day, and I see them literally at every off ramp. The best part is where they try to make you feel guilty with that 'C'mon man! HELP ME OUT!" face the whole time.

The part that pisses me off is I live in Nashville. Charity City. We have 500 room homeless shelters, and they won't stay in them, because to get a warm room, you have to take drug/alcohol counseling. That's it. They get fed for free in one of several giant kitchens running for breakfast to dinner. It's about as good as it gets.

Then some lady decided that the way that she's going to help the homeless is to launch a homeless newspaper and get everyone jobs by selling them.

And because they're the homeless, they ruin everything in about a week.

Suddenly, they're permanent paperboys on every street corner, and I do mean practically every street corner. They fight over the spots.

Get off an interstate? BAM. Someone is four feet from your window. Turn a corner after that? BAM. Another person wants two bucks. Then you try to get into your office? BAM. Someone is on that corner. I make about three turns to get in the office. Even the little intersections have homeless.

I think we should take care of our fellow man, but let's be honest, if there is a lazy way out that ruins it for everyone, that's happening with the homeless.

In Nashville, they're aggressive. They camp at the public square and 'Occupy Nashville' until they get a free apartment complex from the city for them to live in. The city said, "We care, but nobody gets a free house to go drink in, Hell No."

Welcome to hell, Denver. Even the local priest has to be a hardass in Nashville.
