Lego demands US company stop producing Glock pistol covering that looks like a toy

Why? Kids can play with toy guns and not want to end up actually shooting people.

Maybe it's because I'm from a country that doesn't make it easy or common to have a gun, and pistols are way out, but there isn't any harm in letting a kid play 'army men' like they have for as many generations as I know of. I know a family that was trying to raise their kid without gun toys as the father was in the military, but the kid ended up making imaginary guns to play with and running around pretending the toilet roll was a gun...

Maybe it's different because this isn't America, but surely enforcing proper gun storage with serious punishments if breached solves the issue more than not letting kids play. Here the police can show up and check your gun safe at any time and failure to comply results in your licence being taken.
