Is Lenovo Warranty really this awful?

ThinkPAD quality post-IBM downhill, grandiose claims and sucky international support & poor customer service rant, cheap Chinese cost-cutting, blaming customers and refuses to fix issues despite VALID warranty! Lenovo has made grandiose claims about its carbon chassis of thinkpads, feeding us with claims how it is military grade, even showing us this video of a man throwing a thinkpad from fts high https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMkSxdR-W0g ; to whatever forms of battering and abuse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7cvi00OZDM. A lenovo thinkpad has cost me twice almost, of an entry macbook. Who knew that the IBM-quality has gone, quietly downhill. Whenever furious customers find out cracks in the bezel or carbon chassis despite perfectly day-to-day use, Lenovo CS worldwide attempts to fob off customers by accusing them of USER damage, or exhorting them by claiming that their warranty does not cover "cosmetic damage" just to scrimp on costs. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE SINCE A KEY PRODUCT PLACEMENT STRATEGY OF LENOVO IS TO ADVERTISE ITS HARDINESS, and lenovo should not be unjustly enriched in this manner. The truth is that THE BURDEN OF PROOF falls on Lenovo to explain why their laptop is so amenable to cracks, given how they have (mis)represented their material's sturdiness, failed to provide consumers about their fragilities and drawbacks of carbon material, inducing them to purchase their "MILITARY GRADE" laptop yet turning on them when they try to claim warranty. We are planning a potential class action claim against Lenovo for the above and about to speak with lawyers/ experts over Lenovo's failure of upholding their contractual responsibilities. We will greatly appreciate if Thinkpad users/ users of similar Carbon-chassis laptops from Lenovo, whom have been similarly fobbed off by Lenovo or refused warranty for cracks, or other functional vis non-functional defects, to reply with their experiences here on this thread. Other manufacturers such as Motorola and Toshiba has already been taken to task in courts for issues related to warranty and servicing. It is high time that Lenovo becomes accountable to customers and their contractual rights.
