Lesbian Feminist makes her case for the “LGB” community without the T

We just have some very opposite things that happened in our respective histories, I think.

For example, I often have to explain to some of my fellow Americans that my great-grandmother had health insurance for her entire life because her coal-mining husband's insurance came from deals struck by coal-mining unions. That those miners who started these unions fought for their benefits and fair pay by way of an actual, deadly battle with the coal mining corporations.

That the concept of unionizing, itself, is not a modern, nor a "Communist" idea...I have to fight against Fox propaganda which denies the actual, lived, American history. That's one of many reasons why it is different.
