Lesson

I hope I don't get banned for this, but I see a lot of posts insinuating the black population is the cause of Detroit's downfall, and those posts are getting upvoted. I realize were bucking against political correctness and calling everything racist, but isn't that ignoring all sorts of other factors and simply blaming the color of their skin on the city's problems? I think you should be free to have and post that opinion, but I hate to say that I feel that is racist, and even though everyone says T_D is a racist sub, they're wrong, it usually is just sensitive sjws calling something racist that isnt. However the comments on this post, in my opinion cross the line. It's ok, I just want to say I disagree with your assessment.

I think the problem has been the exploitation of the poor population of Detroit by Democrats in the city. Kwame Kilpatrick was a thug, and the city council under him must have been the most corrupt in the U.S. they kicked the people of Detroit when they were down. They used racial politics to destroy the city further, just as Democrats are using it on a national scale.

The city is growing exponentially now. For the last 6-10 years it's been booming. I know because my company does tons of work there and the demand for work is higher than the supply right now because it's growing so fast.
