Lessons to draw from Virginia

This is an often stated opinion that will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Obama had pro-gun opposition from the other party. Who's pro-gun in the opposition to keep Trump in check? As far as I can tell, no one. Our pro-gun allies have put up with some shit to be apart of his team, a sad reality. In spite of that point, the legislature has not been as pro-gun as it currently is in at least 100 years.

We currently have a Supreme Court that's plausibly 5-4 in favor of gun rights. It's taken at least one gun case for the first time in a decade. Out of the four opposed to gun rights, one has had cancer three times recently and is ready to go. Who do you think will replace that justice with a 6-4 nominee? Bloomberg? Warren? Third-party Libertarian candidate that will never win? No way. Trump's court nominees aren't theory, go look how the Democrats just treated VanDyke -- just confirmed to the 9th district court of appeals (California!).

LOL all you want, there is an obvious pragmatic choice if you want to delay the bullet box.
