Let the Fantastic Beasts movies die. The prequel series has tried to follow the Harry Potter playbook but neglects the original franchise’s most spellbinding features.

I'm surprised you like her ending(s) - I find her endings are some of the worst parts of every novel and especially the last novels. It's clear she was skin-of-her-teeth writing things out. And frankly, I don't blame her. She went from penniless writer with a novel to bestselling author with millions of dollars and fans and ludicrously successful movie series before she finished the fifth book

Had she been a good person, I don't think I'd bother. But because she sucks as much as she does, I'm totally fine to say she's really not good at writing. She's good at inventing, it's why her novels feel so nice to read. She invented a wonderful world to escape into. But spend too much time with her characters or her antagonists or her plot and you really see the frayed edges quickly.
