Let’s be honest with ourselves here. 90% of random rolls sucked. I’d rather see mods 2.0 deliver 1 or 2 random perks that we install into weapons/armour than see the complete return of random rolls.

Let’s be honest with ourselves here. 90% of random rolls sucked. I’d rather see mods 2.0 deliver 1 or 2 random perks that we install into weapons/armour than see the complete return of random rolls.

Not everyone was born with crippling OCD. Some of us are okay with a sniper with Ambush and not Shortgaze, a shotgun with Full Auto and not Crowd Control, or a Fusion with Perfect Balance and not Rifled Barrel.

There are a million different "GOD ROLL" PVE" perk combos for scout rifles out there. Triple Tap, Outlaw, Extended Mag, Explosive rounds, Firefly, Crowd Control, Reactive Reload, Spray and Play, Life Support, Shoot to Loot. Hell, I even use one with Luck in the Chamber in PVP to bring down the bullets to kill by one.

For you to simply say they will always choose the marginally best/easiest/most powerful option, I say tell me which option is best for a scout rifle because I guarantee someone will say that their preference is different than what you think you want.
